Students belong to the category of foreign nationals allowed to enter Canada and to reside there. It allows individuals to become temporary residents under the condition that they are enrolled in a designated educational institution. In any case, a person cannot study in Canada unless authorized by law, study permit or immigration regulation.
My role as a lawyer is exercised in a variety of circumstances: either to guide and advise those seeking to study in Canada, prior to entry, through an application for a study permit, or at the time or after their entry into Canada, according to the conditions established by the regulation that applies.
Similarly, the family members of the foreign student residing in Canada may apply for a study permit after his entry to Canada, depending on the fulfillment of legal requirements.
